Both Auburn University and the University of Alabama have been battling it out for the King of the state for a while now. College students are battling it out in Alabama over football while the King of Basketball is being fought over in North Carolina. Regardless of whether they’re hitting the ice or the grass, rivalries have grown from collegiate athletics to the pros, lazio jersey and they’re almost always battling over their turf. I bet hide-and-seek would keep us busy for a few hours. Their rivalry first began when they were both members of the Big Eight before moving on to the Big 12. The rivalry soon dissipated as Oklahoma tried to keep their other rivalry going.
